Natural Remedies
Though not a replacement of professional western medicine, natural remedies are usually accessible to anyone and everyone. Most places on planet Earth have a local practitioner, expert, someone educated in using very natural methods of healing. Most communities also have a source of supplies whether grocery, farmers market or in the wild.

Holistic medicine focuses on helping the body heal itself. This can be through physical therapy and herbalism. Some physical therapy can be massage, acupuncture, exercise and meditation. Herbalism is the use of herbs and spices for external or internal use.

Why do we bring this up? The benefits of a calming tea and a long walk are a lot less expensive and possibly less traumatic than seeing a psychologist and taking prescription drugs. Sometimes medical doctors can’t offer the fix. Sometimes it takes our own selves to do it.

Natural medicine is good when you don’t think a clinic or hospital is necessary. Herbs can be used for all kinds of ailments like headaches, anxiety, depression, lack of energy, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, skin irritations, fever, flu, indigestion, nausea, and more. Natural physical therapies can address stress, cramps, incorrect posture, weight management, coordination and more.

Alternative medicine is at its best when you do it with professional clinical medical help, or when you are unable to access a clinic. It is typically less expensive than hospital care and more available than prescription drugs and therapies. However it is worthless if you do not participate enough. If you choose the path of natural remedy, you absolutely have to commit to helping your body to heal itself. Most natural remedies take time to work well. You’ll learn about yourself and self discipline, which is also mental health therapy.
It becomes an experience, not just a quick answer.
